The guy with the glasses is a total asshole. He intends to show everyone in the town Dajeong's "true" form so that he can kill him. He does some pretty shitty things to do that.

Just wanted blow off some steam. I just finished watching YOI for the 3rd time and it's just so entrancing!! Especially yuri's agape (it's magical) and the music and all. There's just so much substance in this anime. It deals with so many important issues so delicately. Yuri on ice is a beautiful and a unique masterpiece. I'm in love...
and I'm still waiting for that movie.. T_T

Maybe it's not a perfect ending... A story where all the problems aren't solved or even addressed, there was something else sensei wanted to focus on. Grieving people do strange things. They're happy but the thoughts still linger. Maybe this isn't the story that everyone wants to hear but this is the story that sensei wanted to tell, and she has achieved that.
