I think I did find the author's Twitter? I'm not 100 sure if it is since I just searched the manhwa's original korean name on Twitter, but I saw one of the tweets about illegal Webtoon distribution being in the US, and it ended with "I hope Americans die" in. Though I'm unsure if it really says that since all I did was throw it in Google translate.
I translated it on papago app. It says "There are illegal distribution sites in the U.S. and even American people are watching our cartoons illegally. I just want to die. I'm sick and tired of it."
