I saw in Instagram a page where they're together in bed.. I wonder if it's missing or it's an extra?

    Kinghiragi February 20, 2019 8:59 pm

Most likely fan-art. I've seen it as well, and the caption was "it's fan-art" and not related to the story. (Don't take my word for it though)

Yep bullying is really common in S.Korea, it's very easy to get singled out and picked on; plus the way the school system works, it's difficult to try and get them punished. Teachers typically consider it the student's personal affairs and don't interfere. Thus, because it's so easy to get away with, it becomes a serious and common problem.( ̄∇ ̄")

Korean teachers and parents really need some awareness how could they leave their kids face something like that? If I was a parent and someone bullying my child I'd sue the entire school from emotional damage.

I agree... one other thing that might get in the way is some East Asian values. I've experienced it myself as well, but it's not as bad as in S.Korea. Basically it's about saving face and internalising all your problems so a lot of kids just won't tell their parents; on the flip side, parents won't kick up a fuss because they don't want the news to spread. It's more or less 'tough love' and the kids are expected to be mentally strong enough to take such things (which is why a lot of parents are very harsh). Then again, sometimes the parents do take action but the school doesn't do anything effective :( in most cases, the school gives the bullies a warning which just lets the bullies know their victim ratted on them and thus the harassment increases. That's another reason why the kids are scared to seek help, they think it will only make it worse. Sadly there are so many problems stopping these kids from getting help so it's complicated...

Normal everyone got a problem or dozens in their country and working on it, in SA women try to oppose an entire community to drive cars.... Look how we were and where we are now, for example in USA now no more slavery and gays can marry etc.. If everyone started to work on their own problems it will work out eventually. If bullying is a serious problem there hence it's in every manga and every piece of work they've got. Then start the awareness and start taking action you're in a democratic country for God's sake ( not saying you but i mean in general :D)

Yep you're right! Culture is important, but it's something that is constantly evolving and we shouldn't have to preserve values at the cost of the lives of countless teenagers who commit suicide due to bullying. I've also been bullied really badly and never received any help from the school no matter how many times I tried and it was a very dark time for me, so I'm very vocal about it. In my school as well, people who were bullied received almost no help - it was seen as a quarrel between students and not the school's problem. It's even worse in Japan and Korea... in Japan I've heard it's not uncommon for the extremeeee bullying cases to even involve knives and that is shocking. And it's ALLOWED to escalate like that because the police and school turn a blind eye. Meanwhile, in South Korea they have a 'your business is your business and my business is mine' mentality so even if they saw somebody being bullied in public, probably 1 in 100 people would stop to help. It's sad and I hope that our East Asian societies move away from those values... it's not healthy...

I was hoping they let us know how come they didn't send bunch of elementary kids all alone to the orphanage lol?

    Haru November 29, 2020 5:21 am

Probably because they would be separated and they didn’t want that so the twins father and mother was basically taking care of them/trying their best to help them.
