Honestly I'm really surprised and impressed with how the author handled the ending! The characters both had development which showed a lot of depth to their personalities and most of the issues were realistically addressed. They even included how that bad incident between Hyeongjo + Minjae didn't go away immediately but with Hyeongjo's care and support they managed to move past it. Also, it was really well-explained how Hyeongjo's cruelty came from his anger over the misunderstanding and in reality, he is extremely caring and sweet to people he cares about. He actually acknowledged his mistake, regretted it, apologised for it and was forgiven by Minjae. This honestly shows how mature the author is because a lot of the time, other authors are afraid to let their characters take full responsibility for their actions lest they be labelled as bad people or it throws a spanner in the relationship. After the drama is over, they tend to sweep it all under the rug and pretend it never happened. But by handling it this way, the author was able to create a truly healthy and happy relationship with Minjae and Hyeongjo without leaving any lingering guilt/trauma between them.
