I've read a lot of messed up stuff, more than I would like to admit tbh. This is the second doujin I've read by this mangaka, and I've read a lot of Gintama doujins but none of them made me hate Gintoki like this does lol I didn't know that was possible since he's one of my all time favorite anime characters. I probably would be less disturbed if it were original characters not a character I looked up to since I was like 13. I'm still going to read the other doujins made by Harada and all of their official manga out of morbid curiosity.
100% agree on that analysis. You hit the nail exactly on the head, it's because he's our beloved silver soul who can be crass and boorish and downright mean at times, but never ever capable of such cruelty.
