why did she start talking abt humans when you were talking abt dogs?? i'm genuinely confused. like yeah being vegan/vegetarian is great, but that has nothing to do with dogs and their diet?? i can't believe some people actually want to project human dietary needs and choices onto dogs as if they are one and the same, like come on? do our teeth look......   reply

HELLO i also have my anxiety triggered when things are sped up or slowed down? it's similar to my very intense fear of things that are unportoportionally thin or thick (especially next to each other). these are such specific things i didn't know anyone else experienced something similar hahah   reply

fucking TIRED of capitalism. capitalism is the root of all evil, for real. all corruption, racism, elitism, sexism, homophobia, everything can be related back to capitalism. i'm tired of not only my life, but the world population's lives and the world itself, being completely in the hands of a few rich assholes that have managed to step around the ......   1 reply

i'm not sure if you're THIS interested, but here's a really long ass and in depth explanation of trans people! my 'credentials' is that I'm a lesbian from a very open-minded place in sweden, and I know a lot of trans people in my life, and follow a lot of trans people online. when you're born, you will be given a gender based on your genitals. alienplantcentral's question ( All 1 )

i got covid at the start of november 2020 and was sick for 2 whole months, and when i just started feeling better, i developed parosmia (a taste/smell disorder where you sense of smell and taste are distorted, often in a very negative and kinda horrific way. very uncommon before covid, but now it's become fairly common after you've had the virus. it's hard to describe how things taste/smell now, but common things most food is similar to is: rotting meat, rotting fruit, petrol, sulfur, and as if it's burnt). I've had to become vegetarian, and even then that's just marginally easier to eat. i have hypersensitivity bc of my autism, so i was already very sensitive to smells and tastes, and have always had trouble eating bc of it, on top of generally struggling with my appetite for the last 6 years bc of depression etc. the fact that i had to eat at least 2 meals a day was already a huge burden for me, but now it's downright torture. as far as covid consequences go though, it's pretty mild. i'm alive, my lungs are fine, and out of everyone i know, i got it the worst. but it still feels kinda like living in a hell, just a little bit.

i would really like to talk to someone that has similar experiences, even just a little. no one i know that's gotten covid came away from it with this, and i kinda hate talking about it with other people because they just feel sorry for me (which, i think a lot of people would agree, is nice like once, but then you just feel like a zoo animal that everyone pities). i would like to talk to someone that's actually going through it, cause it can feel quite lonely. it's a pretty unique problem that people have a hard time imagining and understanding. we could complain together, or something! i feel like i can't just complain about it to friends / family without them looking at me as if they're about to tell me i have a terminal illness.

so anyone with parosmia, hit me up!
