After so many years, the manga is still not finish translating. I remember reading (not really reading since I just skimmed through everything since I can't understand Japanese) all the raws and it was so cliff hanging since it ended with A-chan winning in a competition (forgot what, he even got to go to Wimbledon and play ball with several famous and top players)
I just recently watched the anime and now I got caught up to the manga! I wish there will be an update soon. I want to see how's Marou's pro life will be. It'll be exciting for sure. Pleaseeeee update
I rewatched the anime recently. I didn't realize that it's almost 10 years since S1 was released. Now I've caught up with the manga. Maruo really grew a lot. Makes me feel like a proud mother.
I’m starting to see why this shit got axed. There is NOTHING more annoying than an MC who NEVER WINS AT ALL IN THE CRITICAL MOMENTS! Like I can already see that he’s gonna either lose or tie. And I’m happy if I’m wrong
The buildup is there, but the author is just not that good at making a satisfying payoff. Basically he hypes the readers, but never gives an ending that fits the hype.
