I never understood why misaki chose to become a manga editor… he has amazing skills in cooking according to anyone who tries his food, and they always talk about misakis Passion for cooking so when he suddenly decided to be a manga editor it caught me off guard…
I sort of understand in a practical sense. I mean, from what I understand cooking is Misaki's passion and hobby, and while he's fucking great at it, that doesn't translate to job skills. Not to mention there's a ton of people who prefer to keep their jobs and hobbies completely separate as to not kill the passion of their hobby. However, I do think narratively it probably? Would've made more sense if he pursued that but I kinda prefer to think of it as Misaki's being a multi-dimensional character.
