Momo sees his classmate Hideyoshi dressed as a pretty girl, and it messes them both up as they fumble towards self-realization. Funny and smart with realistic, sympathetic characters.

I'm really into this manga as the emotion & development of characters are so realistic.
It's so cute when they were holding hand shopping for a gal dress. Yashiro who kept denying his true self (but never succeeded. HA+), couldn't help pointing out which kind of dress suits him. :D What a cutie!

At the beginning, Momo looked a bit scary weirdo as he's an unsocial guy, but at least he knew what Yashiro really wanted and he kept trying his best to make Yashiro happy & loved him back.
At the end, our weirdo Seme improved himself to be such a cool guy. Woah!!
And they became such a cute couple. What a sweet ending!
Like this manga so much. (`•¸¸•´) Totally recommend!!

It's rare to find a yaoi manga that is quite realistic in terms of emotions and thoughts. I feel like it was written by a guy or something.

I liked it a lot, but honestly Momose's hair bugged THE CRAP OUT OF ME. I don't mind long hair, but the bangs gahhhh. Just wanted to vent a little hahah

kinda strange, and beforehand i wasnt into gender-bender type things. I'm still unsure whether or not yashiro is trans but i enjoyed it a lot. it was sweet, in a kind of sad way. i'm still not sure why yashiro cross dresses (not that i'm against it, i don't care really) but it was different and a good story. yashiro looks pretty dressed up. still felt weird when they were doing it when he was sdressed up lol

I guess one of the neat things about this series is that we'll never really know whether he's trans, or his mind was simply grappling with how to deal with his unconscious desires. He wanted to be coddled by men, and his first experience with that was while dressed as a woman - so he was associating being flirted with and desired by men, with presenting himself as female. At the same time, he clearly likes being told he's cute and pretty, which is possible without cross dressing, and without having female equipment... something for him to figure out on his own later, but also something for readers to ponder as well.

I love the band Disturbed too. Yashiro, how can you say screaming crap? Give it a chance. And the 2nd track that friend of Momose was talking about was probably "Inside the Fire." It is the 2nd track in the album. It really tickles when you recognize little things like this in a story. It gives it depths. Not to mention this story is really great. The art takes a little getting used to but the story really grabs your attention.

I love yaoi but I'm not so much in travestite things... . But this story I liked it ! So funny and cute and a little strange ^^

If you want to read another similar manga enjoy this other one... For me, it is great ! =) and the seme (in Udagawachou...) looks like uke in Kawaisa amatte (a little). : http://www.mangago.me/read-manga/kawaisa_amatte_nanika_ga_hyakubai/tr/108563/page/106/

Agreed. I'm not really into that stuff, but this story was just fine! :)

Try not to use the word "transvestite"--at least in the western world it's generally seen as a slur outside for the LGBTQ community!

Honestly I didn't like the story a whole lot. I thought the idea of stepping out of the norm with a less traditional yaoi, but the practical rape scene was a little much, forcing "him" to put on dresses and look like a girl to pleasure himself really kind of made me upset in a way. Telling "him" to buy a new dress when "he" claimed to throw them all out was really self centered. I know that he supposedly did it to make "him" happy but I didn't get that feeling when I read it. I thought the story moved way too fast and it just didn't feel like real love to me. By the looks of it I know my opinion is an unpopular one, but I think it is good to share it.

Well, I get that some people have different opinions regarding such a topic and I wouldn't blame anyone for not liking it. But I just thought that since you put your opinion out there, I should put mine out to.

      1) First of all, there was no rape scene. He didn't really DO anything that can be considered rape. If you brought this to court, I doubt you can find evidence to prove it. Momose ripped his pants off, big deal. At least he didn't touch anything nor did he try to claim Yashiro.

      2) I do agree that Momose forced Yashiro to wear some clothes he brought but I don't believe he was doing it to pleasure himself. Momose brought the clothes because he knew Yashiro would look good in them. It's actually quite flattering if you think how much thought he gave into "giving" [okay, "stealing from his sister" is a better way to put it] those clothes to him.

3)Momose knew that Yashiro enjoyed dressing up as a girl. Call it a hobby or a lifestyle but even someone as reclusive as Momose knows real interest when he sees one. To deny himself the right to enjoy something would make any decent person do what he did.

      4) It had a pretty good pace for Yashiro to open his eyes and see the reason why he enjoyed crossdressing. As for their affair, I can't vouch for their love. At least for me, they had the right idea going for them.

Thank you for sharing your opinion with me, I can see your point in many things, (It's been a month so I am a bit fuzzy on what happened,) But I am still going to hold my ground when I say it seemed very "forced." I have no disrespect for cross-dressers (Not sure if what I wrote sounded like I did or not.) and I think it's a great thing if that's how you want to live your life. I think it was for the best that Momose got Yashiro back into doing something that he loved, but I just didn't really like the way it was all played out, I hope my opinion seems fair. I guess this is just not my kind of yaoi/manga. Again thank you for your input, I am actually glad you tried to clarify me on the subject rather than lash out, I think that's awesome. :)

Wah~ Seeing people have different perspective but discuss politely with reasoning, impresses me. (^‿^)/
Although I'm glad knowing people think/feel the same way. I don't mind people like or dislike the manga different from me. As there are some manga that many people recommend but I don't like. Sometime I even like the unwell-known manga. HA+

This is so good. Loved reading every page. Art is unique and I actually like it a lot more than yaoi doll drawings.
