Bromance was intense as hell, and it's not bad for a story

I agree, from the beginning a prodigy and a weak team. So the team will power up and Akira will level up also.

I’ve read a lot of sports manga, and this one was very good even though the story was short and the team never won against their opponents I think that was fine. I thought the character growth was good and I liked that they didn’t linger too long on problems.

So cheesy, cheesy shounen. It's so cheesy I couldn't read parts of it out of second hand embarrassment - but that's just me. I do love the overall story

While reading I thought “what if this was supposed to be a bl but something happened and it had to be changed. But the author still wanted to hint towards bl anyway and snuck these things in.”
Idk why I was thinking that. Maybe the bromance was just really intense.

To everyone who wants to read it. Do it :) it‘s such an amazing manga and the ending had be crying happily

It was thrilling, to say the least. But perhaps I shouldn't begin reading a sports manga only two volumes long. It felt far too short.

P.S. It's interesting to note that Akira's father was a player from Souma (see Chapter 1), the school two members of Meisetsu wanted to get into...

It's actually heartbreaking that we never see them play in an official tournament, only scrimmages... It would have been a sight to see the growth of the players individually, and as a team.
