i feel bad for the 'king' i think he hates or dislikes kasutaba and the rest of miden, other than the obvious reason of being raised traditionally like the old school way, another reason was bcz he was 'left all alone' by his 'rivals' ( completely unrelated but reminds me of kageyama when he was skilled but no comrades beside him)
Fr i think he view them as comrade in a way of overcoming the harsh training just for them to not regards him the same and bail out. ╥﹏╥ poor guy but damn the training does a bit too harsh for kids
