The story is so unique and its a tragedy, so sad to what happened in their past. I'm not sure why there's no update in here because it's already completed from a very long time ago and it's so worth the read

32 chapters and still have no idea what's going on. The ghosts parts are cool though. Plus it's pissing me off how far we are in chapters and still know nothing of why she was called a monster at birth. What makes her different from her brother?

32 • lilian clearwater gets tangled up with the cursed family of the leondins, having been lied to by the marquis elliot who's pretending to be william clearwater, her biological brother. unable to leave due to the mystery behind the ghost of the woman next to her room and her escalating "immoral" feelings towards the marquis, she tries to find out the truth with the help of her friend, zach tyler. — this is some heavy psychological stuff with incestuous themes, although it actually isn't a story of that kind. the marquis seems to be a sociopath and has very twisted desires with dark secrets. im curious to what actually happened with william and if he really died, something tells me he actually isn't, for some reason. but liliana seems to have some sort of mental illness so her thoughts and what she sees are somehow unreliable. i really like the flashback scenes since i mostly rely on it to understand the story. this hasn't been updated in so long though im :((((
