Ch.1-2 Ai no Binzoko - I like the way the mangaka created a detective vibe; mystery, thrilling & top secret which's hardly found in other BL.ヾ(★▽★) - Their gap in detective career's too big. The Uke felt incapable mixing with inferiority & admiration. He even acted more risky, wanted to be worthy enough to be able to confess. - The Seme took the chance of a flash bomb incident to lower his profile to make the Uke feel more capable / important but secretly worked on the case to support the Uke.
Ch.3 Love you, Catch me - He dreams to be a motorcycle-officer but has zero driving talent.. Can't even ride a bicycle! Σ(￣∇￣") Find a hottie-driver is easier, dude!! (>‿O)v Ch.4-5 A cop Takashima falls for a night guard Naoki whom he meets by chance while fishing. But Naoki turns out to be bro of a drug dealer. - The Extra is Super Cute & Funny.
Three short stories about cops. The first (and the one I liked best) is about an established couple who got together while they were both police officers. After an accident left one with diminished vision, he retired to become a PI and they began cohabitating. Their dynamic is sweet, and it's fairly unusual to see a yaoi story that begins with an established relationship.
The second one is about a student at a police academy studying to become a cop on a motorcycle who feels like he is perpetually chasing after another student in his class who is much, much more competent. But not all is as it seems. Not bad, but definitely the weakest of the three.
The last story is about a cop who becomes fascinated with a mysterious man he meets on his off-hours fishing. But when he finds the man may be involved in an investigation, he finds himself in the awkward position of being asked to investigate someone he is beginning to realize he may very well love.
All three are nicely drawn and well-paced. None of the stories overstay their welcome or feel incomplete. A very tidy set of short love stories that have no dubcon or rape (!) and have a nice sweet feeling to them.
all about partnerships and catching, or catching up to one half of the partnership, somewhat literally since they are cop/detective stories, as well. love the ideas behind these stories, and the characters are interesting, but the narrative structure or the plot is just not quite there. the first one was confusing, and then the twist was kind of a letdown. the second was better, but didn't really find the feels for me. the last was probably my favorite, that seemed the least frenetic of the bunch. nice art.
