YESS OMGG i thought this one is bad but i was completely wrong :( It's so good that i actually shed tears. Anw for the person who said this should end quickly after they confirmed each other identity and then just wed then happy end— no. It CANNOT be like that, if author rushed to the ending MANY THINGS wont get explained and it would leave lots of plot holes, really appreciate how author go into the details about this and that so we know what the fuck is happening in their past and I dont find how cringe their love is, all i see is how two living being completely adored each other.

And first i hate ML leaving dian :( but after i read ahead and know their past i pity him. Dian, on the other hand couldnt be blamed either, dian just wanted to make ML (wish?) Come true, bc dian is living thanks to ML wish(?)/passion(dang how to describe it in english?) THATS why she make that absolutely dumb choice, on the other hand ml is just too pitiful imagine your lover made you living like that just bc of your childhood wish, and her sacrificing her life for that wishes, and you cannot die nor age, dang feel that loneliness i could never. After that you have to watched your lover died many many times, to the point you even feel she would died and thats a cycle you cant change.

But things got better. They were so in love with each other :( i just hate it after 250+ ch there's no mini dian even after many many times they do the deed :v (there's a thing said a fairy couldnt had kids with human, but lets pray author aint so petty so we could see mini dian or mini ml)

I made it to about 120 before I gave up. That's not to say it's bad, just that it wasn't for me from the start and I felt it resolved well after their night together.

This is a strange manga. The characters and art style are both unusual. The story is heavy. There's too much exposition for my tastes and the flashbacks feel padded to all hell.

But there are so many good lessons in this for teenagers and young adults. It's very obvious this was a labor of love and you can feel the authors love while reading. The story is detailed and constructed well. I love the ml, the fl was a hard sell for me but she's a bit like Eliza from My Fair Lady at the start of the film.

From a general writing POV, the fault here is that the author went with the everything-and-the-kitchen-sink approach. Generally when you're writing a story set in a fantasy world, and that author has the creative and intellectual ability to construct that world well, you end up with a lot of busywork. Every character has their own origin and backstory. Every place has its own history. What you're meant to do with that is keep things centered on the plot and let the busywork colour the world in a natural way. What was done here is the author threw all the busywork into the story instead. that makes it flow very, very slowly and a lot is revealed in this story that the reader doesn't need to know. In novel writing, an author can put this together for interested readers in extra works like an encyclopedia or sequels that focus on a different story. In manga these can be put in as extras. It's done this way to keep the story moving at a proper pace and maintain reader interest.

My interest was quickly lost reading this and I only stuck it out so long because it didn't feel like a good time to stop.

So, do I recommend this?

I can't say. I think this is a unique, lovingly crafted work of art that I'm happy it exists. But the way it was crafted is not in a way that I personally found enjoyable.

So if you like slow-moving stories with detailed plot where you get to know every character very well, give this a go.

If you like unique reading experiences, you might want to give this a go.

One other thing I can say is that I don't think it will ever be forgotten.

Didn't read enough to rate it, but at ch9, i stopped because i couldn't take the way that MC acts... this type of personality is more "luck" than strong or smart. Not for me.

I’m at the flashbacks when the blonde (I think it’s been a while since I read this) man appeared and I’m afraid there will be love triangle or something. Can somebody pls spoil me if so

ch 124-125 is the ideal time to end this by getting them married. But there's almost a hundred more chs that have been released and it's not even completed yet. At this point, they're just milking the story. Like in BL when they say, "No matter how much you suck on it, nothing will come out", it's a similar situation to that. Absolutely nothing will come out of milking the story anymore, they've already done that with flashbacks.
