To come back to this and see the rating so high actually shocked me. I guess Hino Matsuri's bare-bones attempt to fix Yuuki's soiled image was all some people needed. Or maybe it's because heteronormative conformists have since invaded the manga space and ruined it. Or maybe it's just because all the people who remember why this wasn't needed or wanted and what it meant for Zero's character development especially that it went in this direction have finally moved on.
I haven't moved on. As I said years ago, I have to see the story to the end.
There's one more chapter to go and I can honestly say I don't know how it will end. But I know it wasn't a read worthy of its rating. While I can admit to being biased in that I came to hate Yuki deeply at some point in the first manga and this one made her worse, even if I set aside all my biases, the story is just bad. Relationships (platonic and romantic) aren't properly developed. Characters aren't properly developed. Tension points are thrown away leading to a very shallow story. The conflict is contrived. It's messy and boring and was not worth the time.
But as a KaZe shipper I will follow this story to its conclusion and use the material to manipulate it into what I wish it had been.
As it seems the scanlators are taking thier time with releasing this one I'll say my goodbyes now.
You can already read for yourself the last chapter in Japanese since it’s already out.
So I keep seeing people complaining about getting fooled into reading isekai with incest but as someone who loves forbidden love storylines and isekai, I've found 2. Just 2.
So if any of you have found all these isekai's where the ml is the mc's brother or stepbrother, please let me know what they are.

Yandere, psychopath ml who is actually evil. The art isn't my tastes. The fl is acting a fool to try and offset her evil brother. This one is more a good read for the story and dynamic more than a romance-focus read.
I normally wouldn't recommend it to someone who shared my tastes because it's a hard one to pin down an impression for. It's a very try-it-and-see read. It just happened to be interesting for me.

i really liked ml's yandere and evil side, but it felt like it wasn't enough towards the ending. i couldn't really point the feelings between them, so it didn't satisfy me much, but it was still a good read.

the one i recommended has a smart and a grey personality. she doesn't feel remorse easily, and you can point down the feelings between her and the ml. there are tons of other incest reads, but this one is the only one with a well written mc and detailed background among the ones i know. it's well written in both plot and romance wise (at least compered to other incest stories). hope you'll enjoy it!! :)
Is your rec for the novel? I really enjoyed the manga version but it's not really giving the vibe yet. I was getting worried she'd stay with her husband.
Yeah my rec pretty much only exists because I can't find anything and it has several interesting qualities (more than the romance). I haven't read the novel and the manga is rushed.
The only other one I know of is Beware of the Brothers and I wasn't much of a fan.

unfortunately the novel was quite rushed too. im trying to find other quality incest stories w a great fl but all of them are just pure smut or etc, so i guess these are the only ones we have :(

There's a massive list on mangaupdates with every kind of incest manga under headings (father/daughter, brother/brother, aunty/niece). You can find some good incest manga there. But I'm a mostly BL fan so that's what I'm familiar with.
I just see everyone whining about undeclared incest in isekai and I'm like...declare it. I want to read. Every time they've coughed up a name nothing's happened between them at all.

Most people who read taboo fiction don't support taboo irl.
Most people like you, give your unsolicited opinions knowing very well what the reality is.

You need to visibly signal to your group what a well-behaved group member you are to feel secure and accepted. You've already achieved what you're here for. My instinct is to soothe you instead with what makes me feel secure and accepted, which is rationality, truth and reasoning. Groups are useful for my model, but not necessary. Where Zero was, still, always just there to be used and left behind. He's been one of my favourite characters in all of fiction for years and years. So this was always going to end in disappointment for me.
Oh well, that's what fanfiction is for. Though it's sad the young ones won't get to read one of the best Vampire Knight fanfic series by Blackened Wing since she deleted her accounts I'll continue her legacy and create a world that isn't as disappointing as this sequel.
After all these years, us old-timers can be at peace. It's enough.

BlackenedWing was a fanfiction writer who forked her series in two different directions. One version went in the 3p direction (Kaname/Zero/Yuuki) and the other went in the slash direction (Kaname/Zero). I only bothered with the KaZe version as Yuuki had developed in a direction I hated but I imagine it was just as good as the KaZe version.
You can still find peoples copies of it on a Reddit post just Google "Vampire Knight BlackenedWing". For the KaZe version you're looking for the Duet Series (Crimson Door, Under the Rose, Blood Moon etc).
Unholy Matrimony by Penguita38 is another good one. But BlackenedWing was the undisputed queen of the ship. We don't actually know why her fics got deleted. They'd been up so long. There were some ideas that someone other than her went and deleted them all since she'd been inactive but we'll never know. All we know is that both her fics and her DeviantArt got wiped without explanation.
