Fanboy starts following a supposedly fake account for Star, his celebrity crush. And a connection is made!
This is...THE cutest, sweetest, diabetic-coma manga in the known universe. It's a shounen-ai. Great pacing, fun plot, fun side characters, well-written. I avoided it for ages because the art style is not even remotely my thing. I regret the time I didn't know this manga.
MC: Cute type
LI: Kind type
Plot:
Salarymen senpai/kouhai. Simple, short and uncomplicated. Very sweet and romantic. Has one of my all-time favourite scenes in BL (when they're talking about children).
A very equal, balanced relationship that you're rooting for from page 1.
MC: Longing type
LI: Competent type
Plot:
Teacher MC gets kind of forced into taking care of an exchange student from a remote tribe. Despite the language barrier, they fall in love. What will happen when the LI has to return home?
The word here is: romance.
This will make you fall in love and won't break your heart after.
MC: Normal type
LI: Earnest type
Plot:
Domestic fluff. Seke.
MC confessed to his lover in high school, when he was cute and small with a girly face. Now all grown up, all of that is left behind for a masculine, muscular figure. Since his lover was originally straight, he becomes worried that he might leave him.
MC: Cute type
ML: Cute type
Plot:
Salesman x mechanic.
This is a cute and easygoing yaoi. Longing glances and confusion over unexpected feelings. Has an old-school romantic feel to it.
Both men get MC time, so I'm lumping them both under MC.
MC: Honest type and Kind type.
Plot:
MC notices some guy keeps staring longingly at his BFF. Intrigued, he offers to help the guy confess.
This one is short and cute. A lot said with expressions over words.
MC: Friendly type
LI: Shy type
Plot:
Cute, heart-warming fluff.
First Story (BL): Boy has been exchanging letters with his first love for 11 years, only to find out the girl he thought he was writing to isn't who he thought.
Bonus Story (gen): A girl who stopped dancing due to a bad experience suddenly gets asked to be the dance partner of her favorite dancer.
These premises sound like they would lead to a lot of angst, but there's hardly any. There's a warm sense of friendship that smooths over any conflict.
