Rare A/B/O

Too angsty for me to read again, but it's definitely one of the top A/B/O I've read. There's a heavy emphasis on defying discrimination and choice. The pairing is sweet and the story is both skillfully built around them and paced.

Everyone sick of the darker tropes should give this a try.

1st story: omega lashes out and is an asshole to a cute seme. But he comes to his senses quick.

2nd story: lifelong asshole beats and rapes omega but it's ok because Stockholm Syndrome.

I'd say read the first and ignore the 2nd. But that's just me.
Both are well-drawn and well-structured with good characters. My hate of the 2nd story is purely because the character himself is an unforgivable dick.

The uke is manipulative but not towards the seme. He's brutally honest there though lol.
I'm pretty happy with the ending, although I wish there was more justice for a certain event. There wasn't enough info on how the universe works to determine if that was possible though.

Sweet AxA with consent, romance and no toxicity. Just an awkward introvert falling in love with an extrovert. At no point do you doubt they're both Alphas and the universe has a key part to play in this, so it's not just there for the memes. It's a really refreshing read.
