I didn’t understand half of what they were saying, translations are so out of place it hurt my head to follow. Nonetheless the story looks good and the art is god tier! However, 2nd volume was a mess!!! Right when things got wrapped up, Mitya’s younger brother shows up and adds nothing to the plot! There was no closure whatsoever for Mitya, it was completely worthless! Giving it 4 starts because the rest was ok, but the plot was all over the place!
Some moments felt quite precious, especially when the unc took a pic of their wholesome friend group. Uke was a bit of an irritating emo brat prior to meeting seme, however I know better that anyone that at any stage of life the world can feel dead in one’s heart. Severe depression and suicidal intent can befall anyone. I hate this type of trope where one allows themself to fall so low to be treated like livestock but it was tolerable since author went over it briefly. Beautiful people deserve each other so this makes me happy, their love is so pure and wholehearted, each other’s angels fr. There was so much unnecessary incest in this like damn n all of them were gross too Idk how the violent bastard ex and mika managed to get married when they’re related Asa and mitya’s relationship and their friend group was so well fitted, you can feel the warm cozy feels through the screen. I’m glad he didn’t seek out his fam who abandoned him, they’re all either shitty or have nothing to do with him. Only the brat was really cute and I bet he will find them again once he’s old enough
they are soo good. poor asa chan to look for love in the wrong places. so glad he found mi-chan and they care abt each other so much. love the story and the pretty art!!!
“Isn’t this kind of weird? We both hate ourselves, but we love each other so much we can't bear it." I feel like this line encompasses the manga and the couple so well. Their meet-cute was based in total absurdity (love and devotion at first sight) but they both still appear really human. They both are dealing my with a traumatic past, but they never let that affect their love and care for each other. I also wasn't expecting this manga with such a dark tone to also be very comedic at times. It's fitting and not corny and it establishes itself as a little silly and self-aware very early on. The mob characters are hilarious and there's no real prejudice in the school.
