I'm glad the ML turned out to not be a perv because I would be a bit uncomfortable with the fact but homeboy was just trying to catch a case just to meet MC again. It was cute and heartwarming how ML helped him open up and heal from his trauma. Even the story with the old man and the cat was quite sad.
