Spoiler alert! i had a good laugh. and experience a work of art. Sean's father knows how to rizz no way haha he really takes after him. I was not surprised, caused of the spoiler now i regret a little to be spoiled and oh, it was so hard to see Sean's past life, didn't know ab that. And di he Carlo on purpose? No? poor Nemo.. Norman? Ayesha's twin seems nice and sweet, poor girl.. there's a lot goin on, but all through out 5 stars. I like it and i love the art. Is this really the end tho. will read again if there's an update
Chap 1: Norma and Gwen live happily and tryna hav r a child for their own. When Norma finally give bird in the dead of winter, no doctor could arrive cause of a storm which lead to her death. She give birth to MC though. Her father then marry another person and she then have 3 step brother. The step family tormenting her whole growing up and step mom never buy her anything. Step bro alway bully her. Nemo also gift her a gift but it turn out to be dead bug. Chap 2: the gift that Nemo gift is dead big which scare MC. The servant gave her a dress since step mom is a bitch and step mom catch them. Step mom fire the servant. MC father Gwen die since he fall down the stair. In the funeral MC, didn’t cry. She run alway and Nemo and Carlo chase her down. She finally lost them and start bawling in the wood. Sean coke over and say that she should start bully the weak and then cut Ayeshah hand and leave. (spoiler Sean did this cause he think that their are 2 Ayeshah, which is correct. The cold one is the one at funeral. Chap 3: a lot to unpack here. So start of with step mom kicking Ayeshah out of her room for Step mom niece (future spoiler this make the twin to sleep in attic and shack outside in dead winter). Ayeshah also grown up beautiful and cause Carlo and Nemo to fall in love. Nemo is more timid and only paint MC while Carlo play with her. While Sean play the piano, MC ask if she could learn. Sean say let him she her hand and say that her hand is to small to learn. (Future spoiler Sean checking cause there should be a scar he give to Ayeshah. He like Ayeshah not the twin and the twin tryna convince Sean to love her for both twins sake.) at dinner, step mom tell MC to eat in the kitchen but both Nemo and Carlo insist she eat with them. Mom piss in torment Mc by spilling coffee on her. The servant let Mc use her a pair cloth cause MC have no cloth. At night MC when out to wash her cloth and met Sean, they talk bout how he not charming compare to his brother and fizz her up. He also say that MC have no friend not even imaginary one. Sean say that he don’t have friend but if he does, he want “another him” (future spoiler, the MC that saw Sean is Ayeshah and the one that got spill coffee is the kind twin. Saying he want another him, he know that MC is twin). While Carlo and MC when horse riding, step mom is piss and go into Nemo room where she find all portrait of Mc and mom digusted cause she even find a nude portrait so she tryna get Nemo to go to the army and Ayeshah to marry step mom newphew Karl. She also destroy the painting. (Future spoiler kind twin agree to let Nemo paint nude so that they can live her) at the dinner, she invited Karl to come over to look at his future finance which make the sibling mad and Carlo say he gonna marry Ayeshah which make the family go mad. Then the night come and the lawyer come over. Turn out the lawyer is the old friend of Gwen and he share a will from Gwen which step mom don’t know. The will stated that it give Ayesha all the inheritance which lead to step mom to kill the lawyer. MC saw step mom carry a luggage. (Future spoiler Ayeshah while living in the shack saw step mom going into the wood carrying a box, which lead concern so she tell her sister to ask the step mom during the dinner to she how she react) Chap 4: Carlo tryna propose to Ayeshah and say that can run alway to a small farm and live together. Stepmom over heard and tryna plan something. Step mom say that the lawyer say the will stated that step mom get all the inheritance. While at dinner, MC ask why she carrying a luggage to the wood at night which make everyone question it. Later step mom ask MC to go to the wood and pick some mushroom with her at night. Step mom tryna kill MC with an axe. MC beg but stepmom kill her anyway. Someone was watching at the wood during the even happening. The sibling was concern that it been a few day since Ayeshah is back so they ask mom where she at and go look for her. Ayeshah then come back bloody and the mom is terrified cause she kill her. Chap 5: step mom start to have night mare and hallucination about dead Ayeshah and the lawyer she kill. She even found a box of show and glasses from the lawyer. On the other room, Carlo tryna propose to and Ayeshah ask why do all that when u bully me and shit and Carlo say cause he love him (whatever bullshit he on) and then the fk. Nemo saw it and crying while draw Ayeshah as the devil revenging the death of it comrade. Sean coke over to the shack in the wood and say she finally free (future chapter spoiler: turn out that where the shack of Ayesha living in while the other twin live the only child live. They switch off sometime but Ayeshah prefer not to interact with the family.) Chap 6: Carlo say to hold a banquet for Ayeshah bday and he will also propose to her that day too. Step mom being sus and agree. Turn out she tryna poison Ayeshah on her bday. She also let her sit in the center. Chap 7: at the ceremony for Ayeshah 19 bday. Step mom tryna poison her but turn out Carlo have the poison soup and he eat eat and died. He trying to walk over to Ayeshah and give her the wedding ring while vomiting blood. The step mother faint. Christmas come around and Ayeshah let all the servant go home for Christmas. Turn out Sean the one who poison the food. Chap 8: mom start hallucinating about Carlo and hav r nightmare bout him since she thought she kill him. Sylvia woke up and saw Ayeshah stand next to her. Sylvia strat getting angry and pointing a gun at her Chap 9: mom tryna kill Ayesha again but Nemo cover the bullet which lost his ear. Step mom scare and run to forest. Nemo chase after him. Nemo don’t hate his mom but could not love her either. But he treat her the best out of the brother. Mom confess that she tryna love Nemo. Nemo come home and leave the family. He also give the portrait with show 2 Ayeshah which show that he know. The story unraveling, ayesha is twin and they big living as one person per their og parent request. Step mom kill the nice twin leaving Ayesha to get revenge. Nemo and Carlo love the kind twin but they can’t really tell part except Nemo at the end. Kind twin like Sean but Sean like Ayesha. Sean kill Carlo. He kinda sad bout it. Sean also bill the step father I think. Also the reason why Sean cut Ayeshah hand is to prove his theory. That why he look at the other twin hand during piano to test out. Chap 10: Sean back story. So step mom 1st husband is father of Carlo and Nemo. Sean was product from cheating with a servant. The husband went to war and step mom cheat. To repay the mistake, stepmom kill the servant. 1st husband still piss so he try to SA Sean. Sean then kill the 1st husband. That how Sean got a scar. Chap 11: Ayeshah confess that the reason why she never look into Sean eye cause she fear she fall in love and then they fk. Also she don’t feel sorry for what happen to Sean. They live happily ever after in each other company with no kids. Chap 12: the stepmom Sylvia love her 1st husband but still cheat is crazy. Back story of Sean fine ass father and how he came to be. Sean father act exactly like Sean. Sean father be fizzing her up talking bout only love one person for the rest of his life and would rather die in the hand of his lover. Wait until he find out…
Love how Ayeshah and her twin interaction. Ayeshah tryna explain that the brother love only for her twin and not her. Her twin also try her best to protect Ayeshah. She also tell Nemo that she herself have 2 personalities so when she unhappy and cold, please give her twice as much love. She tryna saying give Ayeshah more love than herself.
Also the way Nemo say u two was meant for each other as in Sean and Ayeshah cause they both got abuse and have the same personality. Also the way Sean was like asking the servant about how he think he hard to talk to so that why the lady talking to him and then confess that he think Ayeshah don’t like him because he hard to approach. Sean love Ayeshah so much that he have insecurities.
Nemo is also not timid, he kind and smart too. But he shitty at communicating.
aishas life is thrown out of bounds after her father dies and her step mother & brothers take control of the home.
the art is cool but very jarring at times, I think it matches the dark atmosphere really well. characterization of each family member was great, though I feel like the romance was rushed in the last chapter.
