Well I actually finished the whole thing in 10 hours (not counting my sleep and tasks breaks lol). I read at bato so I can rant at the same time in comments section lol and I left comment 22 hours ago on the first chapter. So all in all this took me around 22 hours to finish. What a waste of my vacation
Anyways my rating of 4 star is for the side couples. 0 star for the main couple as I don't support abuse

I like the ending since it gave people who hates abuse and people who wants MC to accept the apologies an open space to work out the ending of their own.
For me I do believe in forgiveness but the manhua made me not want to forgive. They made it so that the ML seemed so dumb that he can't think properly about what he should be apologizing about. Plus he was very lenient with his punishment to Shen L. He left his brother to do most of the punishing. While when it came to MC, Gu Y's fists and punishment flies first before MC can explain anything (well he never even gave him time to explain anything). MC wasn't given any of the patience Gu Y had when confronting Shen L about all his lies. I was shocked by how he kept giving Shen L these so called "chances". MC never received any of those chances and I just can't agree that ML should be given any chances either lol. That's just me.

Dont read this shit this is the most horrible shit that I have read how can u go back to the person thats been abusing you for years, chinese novels are really getting on my nerve they all have the same plot and everything, even this author doesnt have a good artstyle, this just added to my motivation to give up my life

I cant believe i even stuck around for a third of it. Terrible writing and pacing, all the characters have flat stock personalities and no motives for anything other than their stock role. they put nothing into the mcs personality, which is defined by either his ptsd or trivial things that make him "cuter". Its like the author was trying to do the opposite of show dont tell, the way the characters narrate everytrhing theyre doing. Yes the drama and revenge plot was great but it was so poorly executed and then collapsed at the end when they got back together anyways, stupid ass couple

Skipped to chapter like 60 cuz that's when they like actually get divorced and MC leaves ML and that's when the chasing starts. Completely understand MC too I love how he pretty much shut off his emotions towards ML

i’ve stopped reading at 110 bc i am now satisfied that yansheng is suffering the consequences of his actions and nianan is now with someone who is healthy for him so i don’t want to see a redemption arc or whatever because yansheng is irredeemable
