I don’t think I’ve ever experienced such a huge range of emotions while reading a single manga before. Getting to see Mari’s struggle with her own identity and mental health manifest into her creating a new person to live her life for her was absolutely heartbreaking and terrifying. I loved every second of this read.
Man... This is weird but good??? It just... I have no words to say much about it... It is what it is and I'm glad I saw that ending... I liked it??? Idk its worth the read ig..
I like this author. I came into this after reading a bunch of reviews and comments(from all over the Internet), and they were ALL saying how unpredictable and huge of a plot twist the ending was...well, it wasn't. I guessed it in the beginning of my reading, and every chapters enforced it...but I thought 'that can't be..it's supposed to be mind-blowing! And this is so obvious...' Don't get me wrong, except the fact that the ending felt rushed and a bit uncompleted, it wasn't a bad story. Far from it, it was actually a super fun and engaging read! I loved it. But I did spoil myself by reading too much about it, before reading it(always spoilers free ofc)... Usually it just help me chose what to read, and can even lead to unexpected good surprises, but that wasn't the case here.
I just wanted to share my feelings about it...just ranting a bit. That's all. Because story and characters wise, this was a wonderful read, and I had a great time!
