not sure how i feel about it. art is great but story is very depressing/disturbing

Have read before and don't dare to read again. It's very heavy and dark and twisted. Remember I read this the first time I was quite young and not ready for the topic that it shocked me. This greatly disturbed me and made me feel uncomfortable. Now I realized this is about comfort women, the young girls prostituted to the prison inmates. This is the kind of story I don't need to enjoy to rate it high because it's well-written.

This really destroyed me. It's a beautiful, thinly veiled (imho) attempt at making sense of Comfort Women and it's just so heartbreaking.

Incredibly sad

terribly terrible. the art was fantastic, the story absolutely heartbreaking. i was going to give it four stars because it was so bad, but then i realized what a HUGE impact it had and had to bump that shit up to five.

don't get me wrong- it was incredibly written and drawn. but the plot is not for the feint of heart. even i'm close to just breaking down and sobbing after reading this. holy shit.

No ratings because it was disturbing but art work is nice

I almost cried. Too bad it kinda lost it's way towards the end, I would have liked seeing how it properly ends.

Another horror masterpiece, extremely disturbing and depressing. All you feel is pain and sadness, don't believe this isn't worth the read because of the content. This was a good read in general but horribly dark.

Was interesting and very disturbing but i question the author’s true intention for the reasoning behind making this. It seems like they didn’t make this to shed light on things like these, more like a twisted creation to vent onto. Idk everyone can have different interpretations but the author seems very iffy and i wouldn’t be surprised if something bad had surfaced upon them.
