This is just a layman’s opinion, but I think the FL is suffering from depression. She definitely has some heavy mood swings and spends a lot of time in ‘the long dark tunnel” common to people with depression. Aside from that, I can’t understand why no one would let her lift a finger to do anything. It doesn’t make much sense.
