I've read this manga several times. One of my ultimate favorites. The pacing and tension is palpable and entertaining.

It was a wonderful romance. I loved watching it develop. I was just disappointed when it ended because it was so good.

Well worth reading over and over. Pace is slow but not at all boring.

Sequel: Dear Green

They are the perfect couple and i would read 1000 mangas about them! Friends since high-school and in the end they fall in love and become a couple. They go live together and never think about being with another. When their families ask them to get married with a woman, they both answer with the same words, not knowing what the other had said, and from that we understand how deep are their feelings. The fact that both had never been with a man, before, is something i adored :D

Uchiyama-kun... My baby... I hope you find someone who makes you feel good about yourself because you're quite fantastic and should realize it yourself.

I discovered yaoi mangas with Doushitemo furetakunai, Hana wa saku ka and this one. I'm so glad. In the genre "slow-pace-warm-sweet-realist-romance", i think they are the best. Plus the drawings are beautiful, so, what else? huhu

Volume 1:
1-5) Hitomi no Ounowa
Eight years ago, Yajima and Outomi met in high school, through Ryouko, Yajima's best female friend and Outomi's girlfriend at the time. Ryouko remained in their home town, but Yajima and Outomi moved to Tokyo and remained close friends through university, and after Yajima dropped out. Yajima feels comfortable with Outomi -- unlike with his girlfriend. Then one day Outomi kisses another guy just to see what it would feel like, and Yajima gets agitated beyond what seems reasonable for even a close friendship.

9/10 | slow burn, friend to lover |
Uke and seme meet through a girl. One is her bf, and one is her friend
Even after uke brokeup with the girl, they continue their friendship. Till one day uke began to realize his feeling to seme, and he kissed him
That caused seme to realize his feeling towards uke

slow burn. Like really slow lol. But also realistic, they re taking time figuring their feelings to each other since they re friends before

My goodd... idk how to explain this. But as a fan of friends to lovers troupe, this is one of the best manga that capture the progression of longtime friends who slowly falling in love with each other so well & natural. Like the domesticity, the way the MCs already know each other so well, and the frustation & awkwardness when they realize the relationship and how they view each other starting to change. Please if you like best friends to lovers, READ THIS!!! Overall best friends to lovers in it's glory form.

Typical, kinda mainstream a tad annoying undecisive and passive uke. Maybe a very lil better than most of this kind of old mainstream BL cringe manga. Seme is ok tho
