Comments of Death Note

you ever wanted the bad guy to live and the good guys to meet there death? well that's what happened, to me when reading this manga. i love light. if light had to die i would of bin more happier if the original L came back at the ending and killed him or so they say "win the game". i fine original L died to easy, if you ask me. i feel like i wasted my time reading the last chapter and the extra. it had me thinking light might show up some where in it and he might even became a soul reaper. who drops his death note and manipulate a human to pick up where he lift off and also kill the people who dare killed him when he was light. I LOVE LIGHT and ORIGINAL L

This manga should be at the very top of your "must read" list

absolutely amazing. there was never a dull moment for me. light progressively losing his humanity through the manga was so well done. i was definitely rooting for his justice by the end.

I’ve known Death Note since I was in 5th grade. I know the protagonists just happened to find the book and kill people but I didn’t know it was purposely to make him a god and wanting to create a new world. I never bothered to watch the anime or read the manga until 3 days ago. As I’m quarantined at home I’ve been watching animes more then decided to watch death note... as I’m in the middle of it I was so speechless. This masterpiece is just so brilliant everything about it! Light might be evil for the eyes of some but for me I support his beliefs. If killing criminals is wrong like how light used the note then why criminals are being sentenced to death? For me the only time he became a murderer is when he started killing people who tried to stop him but that won’t happen if only those people such as L tried to stop him. But I guess that’s life. We all have different beliefs. I didn’t have any idea how the story will end and so I tried searching for some spoilers then I got to know that Light will die at then I felt like not watching it anymore but I still did. When I saw him losing his mind coz he was caught and he lost over Near then died my heart was all broken. It was too bad and sad. I just... I just wish he had lived. I’m so sad about how the story ended. But that’s that. I will not forget this masterpiece it’s a legendary story.

Can't help but cry of light's death

Good characters (esp ryuk and L), good plot (esp before N)
The aspect of it that I liked are the mind games the characters play on each other and how they try to get on top of others based on the info and resources they hav. It's a good classic this ppl should at least try. However to me after the whole after the some incidents with my dessert loving chara it just kinda slowly died for me and was happy that he was put in a spot That caused an end that I was happy with

Kagami Raito is the only one i really love in this manga. sorry L.
