I kinda sort of thought the development of the romantic feelings was sort of weak. Especially from Ogata. His motivation seems less fleshed out and more convenient than realistic. Obviously he could be crushing on the main character and because we're only in the head space of the lead we don't really know what he's thinking, but it still feels kinda of weak after they finally become a couple. Other mangas have kept the headspace of the seme low-key, and have done it much better. It's probably one most would admittedly enjoy though. It's not bad, it's just not super stellar either.
