can someone explain what happened? It says that is the end. I get the idea that the angel and dark hair will be together in twisted loving insanity, but it felt like it was leading up to something with Lei and our light haired demon. does Lei have a soul still? what is going on? confused.

I feel bad for all the characters in this manga. All their stories are just sad.

The story ia really confusing at parts, but I'm still interested in seeing where it will go from here.

Really good artwork. It's like a main storyline that the author gets to incorporate oneshots of other relationships to flow into the main storyline. Read the open discussion below, the ending...

I personally don't like this manga. Most of the characters look very feminine, and the story telling is awkward and confusing. The worst part, however, is that it's boring! The characters are glassy eyed and aloof—I guess they have feelings for eachother, but it's not convincing. All this terrible stuff happens, but the characters all have blank ass expressions throughout their hardships. It's hard to care, when the CHARACTERS don't even care! Seriously, though, incest, rape, and abuse are all used as plot points, but the drama is nearly non-existent. Incest, rape, and abuse all have the potential to be CREEPY AF, but in this porcelain doll world, they're not used effectively at all.

To compare, Pysche Delico's series "Tourou No Ori" has a lot in common with "Devil's Bride", like apathetic and wealhy characters, themes about incest and abuse, and violent families. However, "Tourou No Ori" is incredibly gripping, and even disturbingly chilling at times! "Tourou No Ori" is excellent, and when comparing it, the ineffective pacing of "Devil's Bride" becomes REAL apparent. If you like "Devil's Bride" that's perfectly fine, but the poor story telling make it absolutely impossible for me to recommend.

[I've now read up to Chapter 17.]
P.S. the artwork can also be spotty. http://www.mangago.me/home/photo/871748/ The illustrations are usually fairly pretty, but like what happened to that boy's head, neck and eyes??? such a mess >_>

I'm having trouble seeing past the fact that all the characters look like women.
The story and the artwork just seem like a weird mess.
I keep reading this hoping it will turn around, but mostly it's sadness and nonsense.

This author.... comes up with weirdly twisted and complicated storylines. Every time. And the ending isn't really satisfying. I forgot most of it by the time it was over. Just this lingering feeling of melancholy

This is one of the good (yep, Good only) BLs but a bit complicated. The mini stories of how evil collect the every parts he needs for his bride are also good but I skipped most of the dialogues because of their arrangements. Those type of arrangements are pain in tha$$ to read that's why I didn't grasp most of the storylines in Manga Yaoi in the back days. I don't like complicated views.
It's not Tragedy. Enjoy it!
