You want to cry your soul out of your body?? Elfen Lied is the best manga to help you with this! The number of tears I cried reading this, is uncountable. Even if I was to tell people what it was about, they wouldn't understand the pain and sadness that was in the whole story and what it makes the reader feel. There were so many scenes that are just WAY too sad and can leave you crying for days. The manga has an anime adaptation but the ending is changed and because both of them were going out at the same time, the manga carries on into a deep story and the anime is left with a sh*tty ending yet still so sad. I don't recommend the anime if you want a deep story but if you just want to cry your eyes out on 13 episodes then just watch the anime :) I watched the anime when I was around maybe 13 years old and I've read the manga this year and I can't explain the feelings I had when reading it. The ending was so different then what I saw and remembered for the past 5 years. I don't recommend the anime to children under 17 years old. The manga has too much nudity, blood etc. The graphics, in my opinion, are 4/10 but the story really makes up for it. In a nutshell, it's about tolerance and acceptance that people in the story are really lacking and should learn them. Hmm, what else? I think I said everything. 9/10
