Is it just me who loves YAOI more than boys?

I'm okay with a lot of things in yaoi but it really does piss me off that the seme uses his libido as an excuse to keep screwing around after the uke made it very clear he only believes in sex with love. He violates the ukes morals and puts him in danger for stds without informing him that he is still sleeping with other people more than a year after they started they relationship. The seme barely redeems any points throwing his phone in the water either. I pity the uke.

First of all, right off the bat, it wasn't consensual, which bothers me. Succumbing to desire doesn't make everything okay? And I feel like we never really got to see the characters' personalities outside of the sex at all, so when the sex happened, I didn't really feel engaged at all. There was also the fact that the seme kept sleeping around with people and never informing the uke about it because it violates the uke's trust in SO many ways: the uke has the right to know whether the seme is having sex with people for his own sexual safety, but also, he made it quite clear he had feelings for the uke and yet STILL slept with other people? If it was an open relationship, that's one thing, but talk to your partner about this sort of thing before you do it? I don't know. Just a really unhealthy relationship portrayed with really weak characters. This manga could've gone places, but it went a really typical route and I didn't enjoy it at all, not even the sex pages. The build up was unrealistic to both their feelings AND the sex. It just happened and, instead of exploring the characters through that, they just fucked relentlessly and mainly against the uke's will. Your typical run of the mill BL nowadays, honestly. I don't know why I was expecting anything else.

The uke was a bit of a crybaby, but he´s cute, so I forgive him ;) <3

I mostly enjoyed it, but I was so angry with Tsubaki. I know he has been a playboy for a long time, but it made me angry that he cheated on Tomoharu. Of course something like that would hurt a sweetie like Tomoharu. At least he stopped when he realized that, but it was still upsetting.
