this is about 2 brothers trying their best to live a life. Their parents passed away since they were young. Ever since then, they accepted any odd jobs to get by. The neighbourhood was kind to them and tried to help them uwu.

Now they're older. The younger bro is in hs or college (don't remember.. sry). The older bro dropped out from school cuz he can't afford school, but he tried his best to support his little bro.

Their job is now more serious and dangerous than before. Sometimes they have to be a detective, sometimes a lure. That makes them met a policeman. This guy is attracted to the older bro. Been courting him since forever.

Booooooooring

In order to take care of his younger brother, Nozomi runs the Gattendou (sort of a jack of all trades) convenient store. For his most recent job he'll be acting as the body double for a yakuza's son, therefore he'll be protected closely by a bodyguard. But the bodyguard, Kusaka Yamato, fervently pursues him all while claiming he loves Nozomi. Nozomi has always earned a living himself for his and his brothers sake, but perhaps it wouldnt be so bad to rely on others every so often.

Cop x Jack of all Trades
Amano Nozomi runs Gattendou, a jack of all trades shop, and he's hired to act as the substitute for a local yakuza's son. His bodyguard, Kusaka Yamato, claims he's in love with Nozomi but his secrets make it impossible for Nozomi to accept him. Even though he turns out to be an undercover cop?!

After reading the four chapters I was in love. It could end here but I still want more. I also want to know more about the brother's story.

Nozomi lost his parents when he was younger and only has a little brother so he does any and everything to take care of him which is why he has a store that is a Jack of all trades. Nozomi does all type of work from finding missing pets to pretending to be someone else which is how he meets Yamato, who tells Nozomi that he lives him.

I like the story and though it seems like Nozomi is in denial about his relationship with Yamato I don't think he is. Nozomi is use to being strong for himself and his brother so now that his brother doesn't need him as much he's kinda at his wits end. Nozomi is not use to relying on others so he sees it as being weak not to mention he probably has a complex being so small and delicate looking. It takes time but with Yamato's strong persistence Nozomi has no choice but to give in.

I really enjoyed this one. Fairly light & funny. I want to read more This is one of the prequels to the book 'The 4th Guard' about S&D Security Company who do bodygard & intelligence work. The company is run by Taki, Tosa (from 'Cat &Dogs') is Kusaka's Group leader. The 4th Guard uses characters from other stories of Fujii Mitori's. This book 'Gattendou Tenmatsuki' the 1st job where Nozomi worked as a substitute for a yakuza boss's son is the yakuza group & incident that made Tatsumi ('Before Daylight') Wakagashira.
