Kasei is left with only fond memories and a smoking habit until Katou returns as an adult and fully credentialed teacher in Kasei's school. From there, the story really embarks on a near-Odyssean world of pain as Katou gently struggles to overcome each obstacle between him and his beloved, moving it forward from fond affection and collegial companionship. And the obstacles are doozies. For one thing, Kasei isn't gay. For another, Katou tried to numb his pain and confusion with some pretty reckless behaviour before he thought he might have an atom's chance of success. This is a rich and rewarding soap opera, well worth the effort of reading.

Its just amazing that the mangaka's drawing style has an Relaxing approach that you can really feel the emotions of each character

This is so good! But the title seems to hint at a sad ending :(

chapter 4 is amazing i so want to see wht happens next, just should have waited a little longer before reading

The slow build but clear plot is just right.
After reading everything that progress in the speed of light, this piece of work feels so calming and soothing. The art contain the right amount of goodness and cuteness. And it is so close to reality.
It is such a bummer that katou cant teach at his old school anymore. I thought his ex is kinda kind, turn out he is some kind of evil.

Yup, I definitely felt bad for the uke. BUT at the same, I don't like the fact that he did mention other man's name while having sex with his boyfriend. Like they've been together for a year and living together. How can he do that. I believe the ex love uke so much too. Tho it's bad that he sent the picture of uke at school. At the same time, I understand the ex's feeling.

Such a lovely story. Realistic. Uke is a wonderful complex character. I'm so glad they didn't get together while they were student x teacher. I'm a bit sad that uke still thinks that he's unappealing to his lover even after 2yrs.
