Comments of Goshintou

The first in a series of yaoi romances based on the function of the sword in Shinto cleansing rituals. Swords are forged to fight evil spirits, and in these stories, they take human form and become embroiled, not only in supernatural battles with demons, but in human conflicts, intrigues and romances. The artwork is free and full of movement and energy, and the stories are very exciting and quite different from anything I've read before. Loved it!

vol. 1, page 42- end: Sword no.3 x sword no. 4. Mikoto's back story from kamakura era. Painful love of the sword from opposing camps. I'm curious of the similarity of the current master to sakura even if he himself said that he's not the reincarnation of the sword. cute glasses seme x seme-like devilish uke. #secret identity, spy/infiltration, #palace politics.
vol 1: 1-17: omake. the human boy toranosuke (and shen jin) created an advert for the temple w/c failed in an epic way.
vol 1, page 18-51: Sword no.1 x Exorcist. Continuation of the historical elopement drama with a taboo pairing. And so the pair continued to be chased. Kikkyou decided to pass on his knowledge to the clan and ninomiya was born.
vol 1, page 53-87: Holy Swords 2 x 7. The story of Nanaki's birth and how the frigid-for-decades ninomiya fell inlove for the first time.
vol 1, page 88-107 : human x demon - toranosuke and shenjin. tora continues doing part-time work at the temple as eternal thanks for making him able to touch shenjin. They were happy right now but there's currently a tide of evil spirits. tora wondered if they can still continue as it is so he decided to study more about them and approached the kannoushi.
vol.2 chap 5. p.107-132: bittersweet star-crossed love of holy sword 5 x ayakashi. after ninomiya, itsumi is my second favourite because he's such a nerd. BUT WHY.... WHY DOES HE HAD TO HAVE A VERY SAD LOVE STORYYYYY *cries.
vol.2. page 133- : Holy Swords 2 x 7. Youngest Nanaki wanted to get stronger and Tora hooked him up with his Master on swords Totoki, a mysterious strong guy. And lol, OMFG I just love Ninomiya and his closed eyes. Anyways I don't think I'm alone in this but Nanaki somewhat looks like Kikyou. It feels weird. Especially when in the past, Kikyou said that he dreamt about "huge castle that looked like boxes"... DEJA VU. But I would be saddened if Nanaki would turned out to be the modern Kikyou because he's already adorably together with Ninomiya. But Kazuto said he would snatch him from time so I guess there's another way?
BTW. for those still doubting it I can read a bit of Japanese and I can totally confirm that the sword at the bottom that Totoki is holding is marked as number "one". Maaaan. His modern-day look magnified his handsomeness 1000x.

Nooo…I want to see more of Kazuto and Kikyou. Love that couple and I so want to see what will happen if they ever will meet with the other six swords.

The story with Shiou was so sad ;u; and I can't believe the other sword had to kill his ayakashi lover!!!! I literally cried at that scene!

 Uke lured seme into throes of pleasure to be able to slowly inject poison in him

confusing, not complete. I was really disappointed.

the history was about each sword.

there is so much action…at some point you lose yourself in the plot （＠◇＠）yet every story had it part of intimacy and cuteness which made the manga better^^

Guys with swords. The swords have souls.
There was a priest who could make these, Kikyou, and ran away with his sword, Kazuma. They became a legend.
After then there are many other swords.

Definite reread... but i wanna take my time in knowing their names, cause i am sometimes forgetting who is who :(

If you enjoyed Honoka na Koi no Danpen wo (Shards of Affection), you must checvk this one out next. This looks like the part two of the first book and the other swords' stories were mentioned.

Characters kind of aggravated me and I didn't really like it...
