It's a very consistent martial arts manhwa and that's saying something! The first parts are slow but it all pays off decently, even the gag-looking ones
Plot threads are resolved in such a way you'll be satisfied by the end of it
Romance is lacking though

Ch 85-86 main couldnt kill hoodie bc of the villagers on his conscious. Main left the battle. But hoodie was visited by the organization with masks and sounds like one of the betrayers is still alive and hoodie was shocked and sounds like one of his own ppl spilled the beans that hoodie helped heal main. Everyone died including hoodie while the ppl in masks are looking for main
Ch 82 recap, main was told by his master to avenge the ppl that betrayed him. Hoodie was the one who killed the other 3 candidates to be the next overlord leader. But during that fight, hoodie got injured and facial deformations. He was injured and deformed, he chose to live as a leader of a village and help the community. The villagers hated main trying to kill their savior. But hoodie understood why main came and knew it was time they fight to survive. Due to distractions, main and hoodie chose to wait 3 days so hoodie can calm down the ppl and leave main alone since it is a situation btwn hoodie and main only. No outside interference

Ch 65 lol it was calm before the storm. Main unknowingly came to the places of his master's enemy bc the elders were nice (edit, that master is not the hoodie guy. Old man did fight main's master and poisoned him, but not the ppl that were disciples of master that betrayed him)
Ch 56 main's friend the dad came back from his mission. It was to gather info as per lady leader who works as an informant, goes to find solid proof of main's enemies still alive. Friend can absorb other's ki and showed to main. Main can feel it was similar ki to him and solid proof that one of his master's enemies is alive
Ch 39-41 girl was kidnapped bc she was associated with some stranger she led to a village bc he kept getting lost. Their neighbor the ginger hunter old man saw the kidnappers with her, and main goes to fetch her, she doesnt need saving bc without the sheets of talisman charms, ghosts would come and haunt around
Ch 33 lady's subordinate was loyal to her mother the previous leader and she ordered him to make main come over and wreck havoc to get the guild to be challenged bc despite it being a big group with more ppl, they are riding in their name and not showing much loyalty especially if they might get dragged into war, they would flee bc they have no ferocity to protect their guild. The lady knows from what subordinate had researched, main is the disciple of one of the oldest masters and she is worried bc despite him not killing anyone, she knows there is a group out there that is enemies of his master that is still live. That means main needs to learn to kill in order to survive when the time comes
Ch 32 lady leader is pissed that her men got hurt by making main angry due to the dad being caught up in a misunderstanding
Ch 31 oooohhh leader comes out and meets main. Main didnt kill anyone, sounds like in prev ch, he promised someone not to kill

Then remembered someone was close to their family and it was main who came to get the dad back
Ch 24 main is friends with the 3 neighborhood kids but their dad, a retired mercenary, disturbed his coworkers business and was taken to be punished. The kids ran to main in panic and main goes to the huge group organization to bring the dad back
Ch 10 main's coworker girl is actually daughter of a powerful seeress. There was a prev ch where her followers were bigots and just used her fame for getting donations for themselves. No one knew where the baby went. The coworker is that baby and bc she has seer powers from her mom, she doesnt age much. And the granny is actually the same age as girl and were like sisters back in the day. Girl told main when they move, they give excuses of what roles to get so the older sister acts as mother while girl is daughter but they aren't related
