Gawd I love IwakixKatou couple so much!
I was just thinking that as they were growing older, Katou was becoming more and more reliable and quite the opposite for Iwaki.
Just for a playboy and Katou’s unserious personality, I was expecting him to be the one to make past mistakes like its so shocking for it to be Iwaki.
Also damn authornim! I seriously nooo Katou I cried.
Only things I’m unsatisfied with are:
1. Really Iwaki taught Yousuke “that”? If Katou knew it would have been a fight.
2. Katou not seeing the cherry blossoms bloom on the porch.

Katou and Iwaki's love will forever remain one of the absolute most beautiful and pure love stories I've ever read... Katou's unexpected death put me in an actual panic, I felt my chest tightening as a lump formed in my throat! I couldn't stop crying. Their love was exemplary, and to this day it's regretful to think that the author practically ruined their own masterpiece.

I regret so much reading this... I'm literally crying so hard ! Why ? Why did it end like that ?? They were so wholesome... I will just forget that and it will be like all this sequel were actually a movie that they filmed like for fuyu no semi ! I will stay in DENIAL for my entire life !!! Or I will go insane ! I can't stop crying it's horrible !

I’m confused I just read the other one that’s just titled Haru O Daite Ita.. so apparently this is a continuation? But I lightly skimmed it and the art looks a bit different? Also it seems like people are disappointed by the ending DNKSNSKSMAO like should I read it, or should I just avoid pain

Here again to say I still couldn't accept the ending!! Everytime I visit the last chapter I'm still hoping that it will change. that's how in-denial I am. I shouldn't wish for sequel if this is the ending I get. Gosh the years I've waited for this manga it was not worth it. I will just forget this sequel. I will not rate this low since this is one of my favorite manga and my first also.

I like to pretend that this does not exist. What a why for the author to ruin an already great manga. I really wished she would have just started a new story instead messing up this one. This story was already finished and had a great ending there was no need to go back and add more.

I cried a lot! I live the plot! I didn't expect it. I love the first story more!

Seriously katou is dead now.

Everything was fine before the questionable decisions around half of the story. The ending was unnecessary. But the series means a lot to me so i´m not rating it that low.

This manga introduced me to the world of yaoi manga in 2013 I fell inlove with the story line, but this ending had me filling a river with tears. Sad and then happy tears, it leaves an everlasting memory of the moments I spent reading it. Thanks to everyone who contributed to this

Tbh the character development in this sequel is weird, at the begining Katou diagnosed PSTD, why? In the prequel before he just overprotective and simple worry to Iwaki.
And after that, many entity pops up in the story out of nowhere but in the prequel it never mentiones before.
The last one is, Katou sudden death, it reasonable if he die in some traffic accident or etc, but just like that?, and Iwaki die in the operation table that never mentioned the sickness before, he just collapse in the prequel and thats that.

The story is good, the dynamic and plot just like the prequel, proble > reconcile > learn somthing > making love
It suitable called it a new story not the prequel, all the plot is so sudden out of nowhere mentioned in prequel

The word "Alive" in the title is the biggest troll kfjsjsks but the screentones were magnificent, as always. Can't fault the art, at least.

Wish it was never written. Ruined a beautiful classic. And why? For money?

I accidentally started reading a wrong chapter and discovered the death! Okay, I get it when authors kill off their characters, but this was poorly done and unnecessary. I wish I would have known earlier, I would have dropped. I won't continue reading this. I'm sad the writer went this way for whatever reason. I'm going to erase this whole thing and forget it happened. So disappointed.

This series made me feel so conflicted at first. I am not a fan of reversible couples, but I came to really love Haru o Daite Itai. I was very excited for the sequel but since I got spoiled of the ending..I'm sorry can't read it anymore. I felt both pain and happiness reading the series, but this is different. Having that kind of ending after being attached to the characters and story is too much of a pain for me. Although I still very much appreciate this series. The beautiful memories will remain.
