ooooooooooo.... woof. Honestly so disappointed with this one. I have heard for so long how amazing this story was so I was saving it to read for a good day. Man, this had so much potential but I felt that none of it was realized? The story chose to focus on mundane issues the whole time and never answered any questions I had about hybrids, or ginger's parents, or ANYTHING! Then it has the audacity to have a second season, that only focuses on shitty side couples, and still doesn't really build on ANYTHING that was potentially laid out. So frustrating. If you are looking to read this, I would read Cradle of Imae instead. It has a similar flavor but is way better with a plotline that is much more clear and easier to follow, with larger objectives and dramas. ***Warning Cradle of Imae also has a lot of unresolved questions so prepare yourself for that, it's just better than this.
It's not like I'm hating this story but the author showed a lot of screen time and back stories to the side couples more than the main couple like I want more screen time for the main couple too and it looks like the side couples are the one who are main
TOO SLOW PACED. I THOUGHT THE STORY WAS LAME WITH NO DEPTH OR FOCUS . LOAD OF RUBBISH AND A WASTE OF TIME. IT SOUNDED LIKE A GOOD READ BUT,WHAT A DISAPPOINTMENT.
To be honest i'm a little bit disappointed since the main couple(Ginger and Rum) doesn't have much screen time and it barely focuses on them. I mean, The side couple(I don't even wanna call them side couple) has more screentime than the 2 main character. Don't get me wrong, I like the side couple's story but it literally focused on those as if they were the main character. I love the story but it's a little bit disappointing in my opinion. 5/10
This story honestly have a potential because of the art and the plot itself. Unfortunately, the main characters lost the spotlight and the story was centered more on the side character stories. Tons of irrelevant scenes and informations were thrown in the story causing major confusion too. Season 2 was kinda boring tbh. I skipped a lot of dialogues and I just continued it because of the main characters, hoping they will have more scenes, but yeah, I guess the season 2 was for Mr. Monday and Mono.

Dropped: gets really confusing in the middle and was hard to follow the storyline, the characters had no development with each other and it seemed like the author just put cute scenes in there to make it good but the plot by itself is garbage. I think people rlly overhype this one
The story is kinda mess. Especially in S1 when the 2nd couple comes in, I wondered: just what purpose did they even serve? They did nothing to further the plot. Ofc, that was under the assumption we were looking at only the main couple’s story. So now we have 2 (and then some), but they got tgt so quickly? And readers never have a chance to even get attach to them so I wonder why should I care about their story? Lovely art, but everything else is seriously a disappointment. The pacing is... weird. Nothing is really ever fleshed out and it all seems half-hearted at best. Still, I understand this started as a short story so maybe things changed along the way.
I LOVE love this manhwa. I think about it so much this is my roman empire. Only thing is I kinda got bored of Mon and Mananna or however you spell his name. I reallyyy really wanted more Lego or Mono :( Main couple is also so cute idk why author didnt give them more time :(( Its sad because i really adore this concept and the characters are all really complex. sighhh all I can do is dream of Lego being happy
