Comments of High Pressure

Well, this sure made some people misunderstand. The vibe it giving of is when the plot about to go downhill, but in the end, the guy is not giving up despite the injury and feeling lost and all the admiration (which can be considered like a pressure to be better) from his lover. So I guess thats where the title come from. Its an okay read. Nothing exceptional except its made people think its gonna be bad ending or bittersweet ending. Its happy ending guys..which manga did y'all been reading to made you think its tragic.

It's nice but with how their conversation went it kinda felt like he'd fall out of love with him if he actually couldnt recover from his injury. That or his bf just doesnt want him to think of the worst case scenario, but mehhh. The message here is janky, it'd be better if there was more to it.

It had a good start, but it really needs more. I understand about wanting someone to continue believing in themselves, but there is a deeper story and drama that expands from that. What if he now over extends his knee because he is trying to keep his BF who appears to be solely focused on the "I love the you that plays basketball" part? That could cause a massive rift, with a bunch of guilt on both sides, that only time and a realization that they do love each other outside of basketball could heal. THAT is the continuation of this story that I want to see. THAT would be an even better read. Because then it would truly show that they are able to overcome all obstacles. Instead, it feels like it is ending with one person truly loving someone, while the other person's love is conditional on the first person being physically capable of playing basketball.... And that just feels like it taints the story a bit.

Art is awesome...but can’t follow it

All the team names are identical to the ones from Kuroko no Basuke, is it possible this is supposed to take place in the same universe?? Or is the mangaka just paying homage to KnB??? Either way, it’s pretty sweet.

Definitely a good story about believing in oneself, but it did feel a bit rushed, particularly with the dynamic between characters. Still great art and stuff though, love this author
