Uke is too soft/quick to forgive. And weirdly forgiving of Tengai's dad too. Tengai is too hard-headed and takes whatever he wants from his SO, deaf to his demands... It's borderline rape sometimes. Not a healthy relationship in my view.
Lately: a man from the uke's past has resurfaced: his creepy primary school teacher, who used books as a lure for the uke was a child in order to sexually exploit him (uke is the child of a prostitute and has few personal belongings). The creep later married the uke's mother and they moved to China, leaving the uke in the hands of relatives.
HOLY SHIT! This is going to get picked up? Like seriously? I guess I'll put this in watching for now to see. (Hoping I don't have to be a grandma to see the end... I've already became an aunt now waiting LOL) #classic art
So... I thought it was good for the most part. But the uke was kinda too much of a pushover. I mean everyone wanted a piece of his ass huh? But everyone said he was so plain. Makes no sense. But I wish there was more love involved in this. So the love at the end was mutual at least and we got to see seme was just crazy with his love. I'm ok with crazy love lol. Glad we got to see a little sneak peek into the future there b4 the end.
Surprisingly enough, I actually enjoyed reading this. I like the poetic side to it. It didn't have to be a historical backdrop. This kind of plot would have worked easily enough in modern times. But it does add a charm to it. I'm not crazy about all the rapey stuff that's happened for the seme to get what they want since the uke already fell for him anway. I dunno why mangaka would use this tactic so much. Are they intentionally rushing things?
