I really am liking it so far. It's supposed to be a spin off from another manga that doesn't seem to be on this site. I'll have to Google it and see if it pops up. The summary was written like its been translated already. -We'll see but I was definitely into this one. Hope it updates quickly.-since reading these first story Hitorijime boyfriend I understand the context of this one better. The second chapter has only made it more intriguing

I'm so hype for this one. In the original story I was super invested in the side characters, the best friend and older brother, and hoped they would get a spin-off. Not only does the spin-off exist, but it is so much better than the original. It's getting an anime too! Can't wait~!

This is a surprisingly addictive story. Hero worship turns into love for a lonely boy and the substitute teacher who has been taking on delinquent gangs in their neighbourhood. Amazingly, it looks like this manga will actually address the issue of adults and minors.

Won't even bother giving this a rating. Why is a teacher dating his student (AGAIN)? I tried to pretend they both were students because that was my thinking from the beginning, but the dude is 12 YEARS OLDER THAN HIM. Why is this one of the most popular shounen ais i don't understand. I hate that this has such a great storyline and the protagonist has such a great backstory and motivation. I just wish they were both students or both adults or something. Agh I really wanted to enjoy this guess this was just another case like Super Lovers or Love stage. It infuriates me that stories like this get more recognition and longer publishing but great gems only get 6 chapters and are lost in the catalog or are pushed off to the side like Ao no Flag or Our Dreams at Dusk.

Could do without the interrogation scene... it really sobered me and made me realize how illegal this whole thing is. When you become invested in these characters and their relationship it’s hard to stop looking through the rose-tinted glasses, but this would never be okay in real life. The imbalance of power, the constant self doubt, self-destruction, and obsession.... ah well, in the end it’s just a manga.

I hate that I watched the finished the anime in one sitting and then immediately came here to read the manga cuz it’s SO PROBLEMATIC LMAOO, like it’s def messed up but I JUST LOVE SETTIE AND I WANT TO SEE HIM WINNING LIKE IM SO ATTACHED

A story depicting grooming in detail and how innocent and kind--a perverted, immoral relationship between a student and teacher can seem. Dont let this shit fool you, this a romanticised grooming story between a kid barely 16 and his teacher who is 27.
