Hmm, I think she changed her life and mindset because she tried to capture the perpetrators of her own case, because normal method wouldn't work she tried to think and act on the criminal's pov and since it's a slippery eel, she joined the police to make her method legal and got more experience with capturing other criminals. I smell revenge but I might be wrong xD
