Idk what the thing about him “being slow” is about but I feel like, in the beginning at least, he did not really have self respect because he let the male lead walk all over him. He is strong to put up with everything but he could not ever say no when he was in pain just to make the male lead happy

Usually I’d agree but in this case I wouldn’t say he didn’t have self respect in the beginning more like ml never crossed his line. He just never felt disrespected at the start, like you can clearly see whenever mc was over it he’d do something. When the ml tried kicking out mc’s friend but mc kicked him out instead, or when mc was just like nah im not taking ur money im gonna go continue working despite ml’s card. The dude always had seld respect and a good head on his shoulder, ml on the other hand has a bunch loose screws
