Usually I’d agree but in this case I wouldn’t say he didn’t have self respect in the beginning more like ml never crossed his line. He just never felt disrespected at the start, like you can clearly see whenever mc was over it he’d do something. When the ml tried kicking out mc’s friend but mc kicked him out instead, or when mc was just like nah im not taking ur money im gonna go continue working despite ml’s card.
