They do seem to love each other but Issei's inferiority complex really gets in the way of that and bc of it, Issei constantly abuses Ryouichi just to make himself feel better. Ryou is completely aware of it by now, but he loves Issei, so he can only put up with it. when he said "they want to be here" when they were talking abt the fish trapped in a tank as an allusion to their own situation it just made me sad :(
here's to hoping Issei can get over his inferiority complex and love Ryou in a more normal way.

Both of them definitely need therapy and marriage counselling already might as well add doctor in it.

I wish this was longer and had gone for a complete dark route! It has SO much potential. Sadly, as it is, it's just kinda confusing and feels unfinished.

Open ending. Both men are twisted in their own way and codependent. One is abusive because he doesn't like how HE is reflected in his partner
