I like this a lot. I've reread it multiple of times and I never got bored of it- I'm not sure why. It's not the best manga but somehow I can't get enough of it. I wish there's more and the Sawatari's lil bro, he's handsome, alright. I too, wish there's a story about him. :) Over all, I like this manga.
Interval is a side story but turns out to be the most famous one of this series. (。^‿^。) The sweet & touched doujin completes the original story as it clarifies the complicated MC. «●[]●» Related Series: 1 Self Portrait : Homophobic Takahito x Homosexual Photographer 2 April 4th (Sequel) - The younger bro [Shota] x A Cross-dresser 3 Interval (Side Story) - Track team story, Aymu x Atsushi Sempai. 4 Interval Dj - Completes & Sweetens #3. I have mixed feelings on this one. What the seme did to the uke is truly unforgivable. You don't rape someone because they don't return your love. That's just really sick. However, I like that this manga made me FEEL. As reprehensible as he was, i felt the rapist's anguish as clearly as I did his victim's. And as for that victim, make no mistake, that's exactly what he is here. This is Stockholm syndrome in action. Developing feelings for his attacker was a way for him to deal with the experience, to somehow insulate himself from the violence & degradation of the act by focusing on his attacker's after-the-fact confession and remorse. This relationship will either develop into a sick co-dependence or it will eventually fizzle out in the long run cuz these circumstances do NOT lead to a healthy, happy relationship.
Very intense rape and assault. The seme is in love with the uke and blackmails him into doing sexual acts and then when uke decides he doesn’t care if his secret gets out the seme graphically rapes him. The uke is actually a little traumatized from it, and there are scenes where he’s frozen from the fear. It made me sick to my stomach and I wish people talked about the more. If blackmail and rape is not something you can watch spare yourself the read.
i don't understand all the "cute" comments. it didn't even have one of those cutesy set ups to the awful scene. it was straight bullying, to a scene where he grabs the first year, ties him up, and with zero preparation shoves it in, and then sensei writes scenes in which persons who don't know what happened makes the victim feel responsible for the rapist being all sad and withdrawn. HUH.
Uke drops his crush just because his rapist (of multiple times!) said he loved him and gets with his rapist. A great example of a terrible, story-killing trope.
