It's not the best manga, but it's not the worst either. It's VERY similar to Parasyte, Gantz, Speed Grapher, and American Psycho, which you think would be awesome(and on paper it is), but the characters are very unlikable and the plot has no originality and creativity. The art is good and the monsters and fight sequences are good too. Bottomline, I'll keep reading but, I'm going in with lowered expectations.

I’m on ch 32... and I fucking hate Bell-chan. “I dont care if you have a girlfriend or wife...I just want your genes.” oh stfu you fking whore. All the females in this manga are whores except the girls in Triple H (forgot their names) and Yuriko. Bell should just fucking die.

If you like parasyte, you'll definitely love this. The art is intensely detailed, the characters are flawed but realistic. The action scenes are EPICCCC!! My favourite manga right now.

There isn’t any likable characters (not that there has to be) and not much development with the characters either but I’m down for some gore so it’s pretty good on that note.

For those who complain about this manga, you have not caught up or you don’t get it. Jagaaaaaan covers very philosophical topics that make each character intriguing. They are dislikable because the point is to show their selfishness which is their beauty. I agree that the women are not the best, but they are a represented in a way that does not take away from the manga- as in women aren’t the dumb one-dimensional helpless characters but to serve a larger psychological impact. I think this is a beautiful story, and though some of you guys may compare it to other stories, I think this is a very individual manga worth reading. I think it even showed the trope of “people turning into their desires” better than Sweet Home.

It’s okay. Art is A++ but the vibes are off. Pains me that people kinda compare this to parasyte. This manga is teirs below that. Not a fan of the weird take on girls here. Their only purpose is to be a sex doll and engage romantically with the characters. It’s boring, predictable, and makes me uncomfortable. Especially when that girl asks the MC if he would date her if he happened to split w his gf. Real shitty move wtf. And the fact that spying on girls is lowkey normalized?? Like his three rules of photography are 1, 2, and 3 “do not cause harm” bro doesnt that imply youre not causing harm by tapping girls houses and jacking off to them having sex with others? Ah, right it’s okay if they dont find out right? Straight up gross.i dont give two fucks about the wannabe MC or the literal sex offender

I seriously don't want this to get anime. It's seriously shit and I feel sorry for the dead girlfriend. Ml and whore bella can go to hell.

I adore this art

I like how Jagasaki's not the stereotypical kind of protagonist who is overly pure and does things out of a sense of self-justice. None of the characters were pretty likeable but that's just how this mangaka does his works. It was a pretty unique plot and take on how heroes should be and overall interesting that kept me wanting to read more. The only thing I didn't like about this is how women in this manga are portrayed as small, damsel, creatures who seem absolutely pathetic.

Also, the art was magnificent holy cow

if you read parasyte and liked the poetic symbolism, the tenderness of relationships being built in the midst of chaos, the poignant understanding of life and what it means to be human, you'll hate the shallow chuuni plot this whole manga is based on lol
