Great story. A mother doesn't need to be related by blood it's all about the bond. Adults should be the ones who take care of the children instead of mistreated them and taking advantage of them. I don't condemned the abandonment but I do understand how manipulated and how mistreated the biological mother was, a child who was brainwashed, groomed, who only wanted someone to accept her and give the love she could never received before!
Wakaba's mom is like my mom, but when reading this story shed me tears. I'm comparing my situation to the manga and it hurts alot. I aswell wanted to become a better mother in the future, better parents not like my parents.
All i can say is this story is goddamn precious! It is about a child who has full of love of their parents and lack of love for the parents. At first chapter i was pissed off of haru biological mother but now i pity her i really want her to be happy like find her own family and happiness because all of what she been through nah she doesn't deserv it.
Could you give a more honest portrayal of how predatory teacher-student-relationships are? I don't think so. It also showcased how becoming a parent is more about a conscious decision to dedicate your life to someone than a biological connection. Which is nothing but the truth. 10/10
feel bad for the mother. clearly grooming and the teacher intentionally misusing his position of power. don't like the framing that she's even remotely as bad as him. you can't expect a young teenager who's being manipulated and completely reliant on one person to suddenly be awakened by a magical motherly instinct and instantly mature and go against said person (which is what some commentators seem to expect
