It's really a great story, great romance, and surprisingly have a very interesting plot. It's seems real, when noriko have to learn their language first (most of fantasy story have only ONE language, somehow the hero just be able to speak as others), and then Izark was not a super hero who able to do everything (I like how he become weak sometimes and feels all burdened by noriko). And I also like noriko character, she is not an annoying crybaby girl. indeed she a crybaby, but she always do her best and thinking positive. These two character combination and those awesome plot really addictive! I just LOVE NORIKO and IZARK. One of my FAVE-MANGA-OF-ALL-TIMEZ!

Really love this. Reread it lots. The bond between the main characters is so enjoyable to watch as it develops.

You laugh, you cry, but you smile again. The greatest series I've ever known.
No matter how many times I read this manga, the feeling's always the same - amazing - like I'm reading it for the first time all over again.

THE BEST ISEKAI SHOULD MANGA OF ALL THE TIME

One of the best mangas I've ever read (and re-read) – it's just fantastic, don't miss this one!

This was such a refreshing and wholesome read. I particularly liked how the heroine is portrayed. She's cute and definitely not the annoying kind. She may be weak but she acknowledges that and focuses on the things that she can do. Her learning the language is also cute and relatable because for a girl isekaid to another world, this gives a more realistic feel to it. Izark has also become one of my fave characters. With that past and that fate that he endured, he was still such a gentle and good peraon within. He helps people when he can and uses his power for good. Their pairing is PERFECT. The characters here are also well portrayed. I hope there were more chapters though :(( I would love to see Noriko and Izark settled down and have a family and maybe visit Noriko's hometown but this kind of ending is not so bad. There aren't many good shojo isekai stories nowadays, with that good plot, characters and great romace so I'm glad that I came across this story. Might reread in the futureee :)

The story is good and refreshing, quite aesthetic too. I didn't understand how the powers exactly work but read this for the romance and the other wordly feel. A good shoujo indeed

Uplifting & thoughtful manga, with a "Cutie & the Beast"-storyline but relatable FL, highly recommend!

One of my favorites, re-reading this has made me want to get my paper copy out of storage. It's a feel good story that emphasizes that it's not material things that save people but genuine kindness. The things we do that are small and almost insignificant to us but given from a genuine place.

Walking home from school one day, Noriko is innocently caught up in a terrorist bombing. Rather than being blown to bits, she finds herself transported to another world; a world in which darkness seems on the rise, as its powers desperately search for a being known as the Awakening whom it is said will awaken the Sky Demon. She finds this new world to be dangerous and overwhelming, and Noriko has little choice but to throw her lot in with the mysteriously powerful man she encounters upon her arrival. The enigma of this world and her role in it will gradually unfold, but first things first: Noriko must learn their language!

In 2004, this manga won the 35th annual Seiun Award for best science fiction comic.

i don't know how many times i've reread this, but hell i really really luv this story SO much <3 never get tired of this and i just luv all the characters in here :--)
