I know different people have different ways to express their love but imo the way the manga portrays his affection towards her is so sad like … she seems to put her whole heart and soul into showing him how much he loves her. Only to get a few loving gestures back once in a while. Yes, he supports her when she has a rough day but tenderness and care shouldn’t just be something you give away on special occasions. I know I’m definitely reading too much into it but if this relationship was real, I reckon the girl would feel unloved and insecure after a while, especially with how much happier he acts with his childhood friend. Ya anyways I hope the author gives him a redemption arc or smth where he realises that he should show her he loves her more often. I hope no one takes offence to this haha I’m a pretty insecure person so ig all im saying is that i would NOT survive in a relationship like this

Girl, stand up!!

I’m torn. I want to like this, but the boyfriend is just not reciprocating the same. It’s lowkey sad, literally the girl is the only one carrying the relationship. I like the energy she displays, but it’s just so wasted. The guy shows more emotion to his friend than he does to her. It’s supposed to be cute, but it’s really just depressing to read. Hopefully we see his point of view soon to see if he really does like her and he’s just shy or something, but for now, it’s not a nice thing to read to get your mood up.
