the plot is doesn't reveal much of relationship problems. 50-60% of each chapter is cooking. Just how to cook meals with cheap ingredients. no kiss. little to none romance. hugging - little bit. no sex - obviously. just a slice of life. with coooooookkkking. and yaoi setting. thats it. was interesting at the beginning but turned out to be boring. =(
There is one time a day where family members sit down and have a nice fulfilling meal where all the stress of the day is being evaporated with every single bite! Dinner time!
This couple has a fair share of everyday stress and both men care about each other, but their relationship is not the usual lovey-dovey often portrayed in Yaoi. They are mature, successful and have flaws. Surprise, they are normal!
((This hasn’t been updated in so long but there are 2 more volumes atleast))THIS. IS. A. MASTERPIECE. It’s the story of the lives of an older gay couple. And that’s it. I don’t like slice of life and I hate cooking but my god this manga is just so perfect. ALSO!! Please watch the show of this, it’s live action and it’s literally better than the manga. The actors are perfect and everything is perfect and it’s so fucking good. OH and the food is actually good too! I made the earl grey ice cream because I love tea and wow! Super super good!
up to ch43; this is 75% cooking and 25% slice of life. about this two middle aged couple of three years who live together. a very realistic glimpse of how being gay in society looks like.
I FREAKING LOVE THIS SLICE OF KIND MANGA, I'LL EAT ANYTHING RELATED TO SLICE OF LIFE UP, IDC IF IT'S BL, GL, HET. I LOVE ESTABLISHED RELATIONSHIPS. I WATCHED THE LIVE ACTION FIRST AND JUST FOUND OUT THIS HAS THE MANGA BY ITSELF HSSJSGQJQJAJJAMAMA. IM SO HAPPY
Going straight into my recommendations this was amazing It was so natural it almost felt like i was looking at someone's actual daily life Hope some new chapter update though
