Comments of Kobato

I've been rewatching Kobato anime 4 times now, in the span of many years of course. So each rewatch is pretty much like new anime to me. This time I've finished rewatching Kobato anime for the 4th times and then I was curious about the manga, I only read chapter 44-45 because I was curious if there's anything extra in manga. Low and behold, I'm FUCKING shocked seeing the ending is so damn different in the manga. If I have to be completely honest, I personally like Kobato anime ending, manga ending has its own charm too but I prefer anime ending.
Some spoiler below:
I think the anime ending is perfect, the Ushagi is merciless, ain't no spirit world helping Kobato like in the manga where Gunsei helping Kobato, in anime they're not even talk to each other. Like, there's so many difference I can point out. In anime, the confession is non explicit, which is 'you're my most important person', while in manga, they straight up confess 'i love you' to each other. In anime, Kobato is an adult (i assume) when they met again, while in manga Kobato is a high schooler while he is already a working adult, there's a huge age gap there, idk what to feel about that. two things I want to point out, the anime version, this is just a me thing, I get 2nd hand embarrassement in most episodes, because of Kobato. 2nd thing to mention, Kobato seiyuu fits her character, its just that the character Kobato seems to shout when talking, I guess that's how CLAMP want her character voice delivered.
Back to the ending discussion, the anime ending is more believable and feels more magical, just my opinion. Manga ending feels like there's many outside character included or interfere that it feels too unrealistic? I know I'm gonna get shit with this opinion, but I don't care. Obviously, manga is where its originally come from and then it adapted to anime. I always prefer manga btw. but this is the only exception where I prefer the anime than the manga. Moreover, Kobato anime has some good soundtrack and especially when Kobato sing, I like the song, idk what its called.

There seems to be alot of crossover in Kobato. In the anime at least. We have characters from Wish (which I hadn't read and its pretty much spoiler already when they appear in Kobato), Watanuki from xxxHolic, Chobits? (i hadn't watch or read this yet, but the twins looks very familiar), Tsubasa (Syaoran, Fei, Kagomine, Mokona appear, sorry if some of the name wrong).

Meet Kobato Hanato, a sweet and rather simple young girl on a quest to have her single, dearest wish granted. But first, she must learn the ways of the world from Ioryogi-san, a gruff blue dog whose bark is just as bad as his bite! Under his "tutelage" (read: constant verbal abuse), Kobato puts her efforts into passing various trials of common sense so that she may obtain the key to getting her wish-a magic bottle which must be filled with the suffering of wounded hearts that Kobato herself has healed. But with Kobato's common sense sorely lacking, she keeps flunking Ioryogi-san's trials left and right! It looks like the road that lies ahead of Kobato will be a long one indeed! She meets with differente people like Sayaka and Fujimoto (her bf) and the Angel within her likes igiori and the Angel is there to stop kabatos illness.

These throwback hetero mangas are killing me. I still cry thinking about this one ughghghgh. Beautiful story <3

The anime was good but didn't explain much but wow I am supposed by how good this manga was like the twist and the plot was just PERFECT definitely a must watch all clamp anime's/mangas are the best

CLAMP does it again. I kind of wished they had Watanuki for that bit, like in the anime. Seeing Yuuko and Clow was good at least.

the story is bittersweet, yet Beautiful

haven't read this yet, but i really like the anime adaptation. shoujo with just the right douse of cutesy.

I'm really into this story. It's sweet and well structures, characters are really on point. It's amazing (=ﾟωﾟ)ﾉ
